Christopher J. Ahrens serves as Vice President of Ahrens Financial Group and Assistant Director of the Erie County and Monroe County Bar Association Health Insurance Programs. He plays an integral role in the management and continued growth of the Bar Association benefit programs, working closely with members, employers, and insurance carriers to deliver comprehensive and cost-effective benefit solutions.

Chris specializes in employee benefits, group health insurance, Medicare, and financial planning. He works with organizations of all sizes, from sole proprietors and small businesses to larger employers—providing strategic guidance on fully insured, level-funded, self-funded, and captive health insurance solutions. His expertise includes benefits consulting, plan design, enrollment strategies, and ongoing client support to help employers navigate today's complex healthcare environment.

As an AHIP-certified Medicare professional, Chris is qualified to assist Medicare-eligible individuals in evaluating and enrolling in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D prescription drug plans. He is committed to helping clients understand their options and select coverage that best meets their healthcare and financial needs.

Chris attended Allegheny College and the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he studied Economics.
